At Waypoint Kids we have classes for all kids, ages 0-5th grade. Children are encouraged weekly to explore their relationship with Jesus and others through our lessons, worship and interactive games.

In The Classroom

Our curriculum is from ORANGE and geared for the ages in our classrooms. We also pair our younger lessons with “The Jesus Storybook Bible” by Sally Lloyd Jones. Each class involves: play, worship through music, a topical lesson, play games, activities, or crafts related to the lesson.

Check-in/Check out

Our Check-In tables are at the entrance to our kid’s ministry. Waypoint Kid’s check-in begins 15 minutes prior to service. At your first visit, you will be asked to fill out some family information and then your child will be checked in. The check-in process includes a tag with their name, if there’s an allergy, and a letter - number combination to verify that it is your child at pick up.

Drop Off: Please let your child’s teacher know if there are any food allergies or special needs.

Pick Up: Please pick up your child immediately after service and remember the tag for identification to match your child.

Here are a few things you should know…

Bathroom Use: We ask that you have your child use the restroom before class. If they need to use the restroom during class, we will have them go. If you are needed: If your child needs you during service, we will use the ID tag you received at check-in to let you know. The media team will send the alert on the screen, so keep those tags handy! Reasons to alert you: major injury, diaper change, no diapers, clothing change needed, or illness.

Waypoint Kid’s Mission Statement

Waypoint Kids is designed for all children in our church and our community from birth to 5th grade. Waypoint Kids provides children with opportunities to learn about God in a fun, engaging, and safe environment created just for them. We also have Bible Detectives mid-week for 1st-5th graders to help our kids be grounded in the bible.
