STARTING SEPTEMBER 9th!
My name is Ann Marie Smith and I am the Director of Waypoint Early Learning. I have worked with children for over 18 years as a Youth Pastor, Volunteer and Care Giver. I am a wife and mother of three children and love living and participating in the Thurston Community. I am a lifelong learner and am dedicated to continually educating myself and staff with the best practices in Early Child Care for your child(ren).
My name is Lezlee Johnson and I am one of the teachers for Waypoint Early Learning. I am a wife and mother of four amazing kiddos. I am going into my 4th year homeschooling and love the challenge and reward that it brings. I have been a volunteer with our children’s ministry at my local church for about 7 years. I truly enjoy seeing children blossom into intelligent and capable little people, and being a part of that process is an honor. I am always excited about learning and think continual education is very important. I am dedicated to shaping young minds and having a positive effect on all the children I teach.
My name is Regent McKenzie and I am a proud member of the Springfield/Thurston community. I have been married to my husband for 14 years and we have a 10 year old daughter. During the last 5 years, I have been volunteering weekly in my daughters classroom, often leading arts and crafts activities and been heavily involved in the PTO. I have been PTO President, Vice President and Fundraising Coordinator. During that time I have helped secure funding for field trips, classroom enhancements, a new playground and much more. I enjoy being around children and getting to know their little personalities. I look forward to continuing to serve our community and your family at Waypoint Early Learning.
